Basics of Feng Gongs
Gongs are among the oldest and most important musical instruments in Southeast Asia. They come in various designs and sizes.
The Chinese Feng Gong, often called a Fen or Wind Gong, is a nearly flat, rimless disc made of a polished bronze alloy and slightly curved. This design produces deep sounds when lightly struck and powerful and energizing sounds when struck hard. Its sound often has a fairy-like quality and spreads outward.
It can be played on both sides, and the smaller sizes, up to 55 cm in diameter, can also be comfortably held in the hand. They are valuable companions in sound work, sound therapy, and sound massage.

Manual production requires numerous forging processes, which give the gongs their particularly robust appearance. Only these tested and thoroughly listened-to gongs receive the Premium seal. The Classic quality is the affordable alternative. These gongs were not individually selected and/or do not fully meet the high standards for Premium quality, but are still of very good quality.
